Chloe Giles, School Founder and Principal
Chloe grew up in Ipswich and trained in a number of styles. She successfully competed in numerous festivals and competitions and was awarded a full scholarship to perform with the English Youth Ballet. She was also a Suffolk Ballet Scholar until the closure of the programme in 2012.
At 18, she began studying at the Royal Academy of Dance in London. Whilst there, she gained a distinction in her Advanced 2 Ballet Examination, was awarded the Licentiate Bursary for three years consecutively, gained 95% in her final teaching assessment and was heavily involved in the launch of the new Discovering Repertoire Syllabus. She went on to graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Ballet Education, and a Distinction in the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance.
Upon graduation, she moved back to Ipswich and has been devoting her time to sharing her passion for dance with the next generation. She has gone on to gain the ISTD’s Diploma in Dance Education and Diplomas in Contemporary and Gymnastic Dance with the NATD, and as such, is now qualified to teach a number of dance genres. She has also gained the RAD Silver Swans Licensee, which has allowed her to expand her teaching expertise to not only working with children, but working with older adults as well. Holding an up to date DBS, a First Aid Certificate, Safeguarding Training and a Chaperone Licence, you can be certain that your children will be happy and safe in their classes. It is Chloe’s mission to deliver fun and imaginative classes, where students’ talent can be nurtured at each and every lesson. Along with a passion for learning, students develop strong technique, musicality and sense of performance. This is evidenced in the 100% pass rate of Chloe’s past students in examinations.
